
Stephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her most famous role was Miss Bala (2011), which was a Mexican crime drama film. She was also seen in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). Sigman was a major character in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both of the series. Sigman was born to the family of a Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. Sigman is an U.S. citizen through her father. The brother of her and baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was earlier engaged to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career appearing on Mexican television before making her film debut in Rio de Oro. She played Laura Guerrero, the lead in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime-drama film. [6] The film was nominated for the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8The film, however, did not make the cut. (9) Sigman was awarded a Dublin Film Critics Circle Award for her work as film critic in 2011. In the following year, she played Catalina Aguado in the Canadian documentary film Flight of the Butterflies. In 2013, Sigman starred with Pioneer the film, which was a Norwegian thriller.
