Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also directed films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Growing up in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, she had lots of dreams. The mother of her children was a film enthusiast and encouraged her to love films when she was a kid. Paula was a fan of school co-curricular activities and was particularly fond of drama. Paula was a fantastic actor and loved performing with her fellow students. After starring in numerous performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School, she decided to make acting her career. She enjoyed her summer at University of Southern California. The program gave her a three month task to produce documentary films for PBS. She started as a production assist for TV documentaries, after completing her project. She then moved to produce documentaries. Her work was rewarding, but she still wanted to be an actor. Her acting debut came by playing a supporting role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she has been in a variety of films and television series.
