Sheryl Underwood is a American comedian, host of a TV show and actor popular for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Born in Arkansas she was raised within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a family which has experienced a variety of problems. She was a troubled child. growing up taking care of her younger sister Frankie suffering from polio. As a teenager, she experienced many issues with her mom. Sheryl claimed that at one time, her mother stabbed her son's father because she was getting close to her. Sheryl was drafted into the military upon her college graduation. Her love for comedy was stronger. She was the first female finalist in the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career in the year 1992 when she was a regular guest for the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She was the host of the TV show Oh Drama! in 2000. The show has also featured her as host of The Talk since 2011. She also has portrayed the role of a fictional character in shows such as Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
